Tesla founder and CEO, Elon Musk, recently announced that the Model S electric car will be on display in New York City on April 30th and May 1st at the Plaza Hotel, 5th Avenue at Central Park South, New York, NY 10019. "Tesla sales representatives will be at The Plaza Hotel to answer questions and take reservations. Eventually we will have a Model S in all of our showrooms and at major auto shows. In the upcoming months, we'll bring the Model S to Chicago, Seattle, Miami and Washington as we prepare to open regional sales and service centers in those locations." The Model S will also appear on TV soon...
Elon Mush will be a guest on the Late Show with David Letterman on April 29th, and he'll be bringing the Model S electric sedan with him. Here's the TV Guide listing.

This is an excellent opportunity to introduce electric cars to even more people (the buzz has been really good on the internet, but you'd be surprised at how many people "out there" who still don't know that these kinds of electric cars are possible).
